In addition to a core team of analysts, the mission recommends the second&shy;ment of 100 long-term observers from OSCE participating States to follow the electoral process country&shy;wide, and 400 short-term observers to follow election day proceedings. In line with the ODIHR\u2019s standard methodology, the EOM would contain a media monitoring element.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<!-- #tablepress-4 from cache --><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/2020\/aug\/13\/osce-election-monitors-us-integrity-november\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Guardian<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The ODIHR began monitoring US elections after the disputed vote in 2000 which was ultimately resolved by the supreme court.
