Rather, it\u2019ll be a gradual transition over a long period of time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWill people have to wear masks? Yes, likely,\u201d Fauci said. \u201cI would imagine that if we get a good vaccine now, that we could have some degree of normality in the third quarter to the fourth quarter of 2021.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think ultimately, we will get back to normality as we knew it before this. But \u2026 it\u2019s going to be a gradual process, in which the restrictions on things \u2014 restaurant numbers, theater attendance, spectators at sports [events] \u2014 all of that will come back gradually.
