Brandenburg Gate. Bulgaria? … Bulgaria? What’s the global symbol of Bulgaria? Until a month ago I would have had no clue.<\/p>\n

\"\"To be honest I found the horseman a bit anticlimactic. Yes, I understand that it was carved here 1300 years ago, and that’s cool, but I think I was expecting something a little larger (that’s what she said).<\/p>\n

\"\"The climb up to the Roman fortress was fantastic, though! The cliffs reminded me of the album cover of Yes’s Relayer album. It wasn’t the first time, and wouldn’t be the last, I wished I had some acid with me.<\/p>\n
