\"\"The museum complex is visually striking at night. I parked to the right side at first, but found the doors were to an apartment building, and moved my car. The entrance to the museum is three stories down a long flight of steps. On the ticket counter a tablet display alternated images of the museum exhibits with ads for the gift shop and ads for \u2026 an apartment complex. I pointed out to the cashier that their display seemed to be advertising apartments. She smiled and confirmed that yes, the level above us was apartments. I told her I’d never before seen a museum combined with apartments like this and she smilingly said no, she hadn’t either, but they have this here.<\/p>\n

\"\"Describing catastrophes as most tragic seems to be as de rigueur as describing murders as brutal, but the second sentence here really caught my eye and well-describes the approach the museum has taken to explaining the origins of the war in Europe. I have not seen this elsewhere, instead seeing Hitler and Mussolini always given full responsibility. I appreciated the museum’s take here.<\/p>\n
