In der Dokumentarserie \u00fcber NS-Konzentrationslager und die Suche nach dem Kriegsverbrecher\u00a0John Demjanjuk\u00a0sei insbesondere durch historisch falsche Landkarten der Eindruck entstanden, Polen sei f\u00fcr Konzentrationslager und darin begangene Verbrechen verantwortlich gewesen, kritisierte Morawiecki in einem Brief, den er auf seiner Facebookseite ver\u00f6ffentlichte.<\/p>\n

Tats\u00e4chlich aber habe Polen w\u00e4hrend des Zweiten Weltkriegs gar nicht als Staat existiert, sondern habe unter der deutschen Besatzung und Gewaltherrschaft gelitten. Viele polnische B\u00fcrger seien ermordet worden, weil sie versucht hatten, ihre j\u00fcdischen Nachbarn zu retten.<\/p>\n

Zuvor hatte bereits das polnische Au\u00dfenministerium via Twitter kritisiert, die in der Serie genutzte Karte zeige nicht historisch korrekte Grenzen.<\/p>\n

Most of Poland’s Jewish population was wiped out during the occupation.<\/p>\n
