Let’s go together

Shall I go off and away to bright Andromeda?
Shall I sail my wooden ships to the sea?
Or stay in a cage of those in Amerika??
Or shall I be on the knee?
Wave goodbye to Amerika
Say hello to the garden

So I see – I see the way you feel
And I know that your life is real
Pioneer searcher refugee
I follow you and you follow me
Let’s go together
Let’s go together
Let’s go together right now

—Paul Kantner, Let’s Go Together

After some discussion the white-haired docent at a concentration camp in southern Denmark chose his words carefully: Given US actions in the world we could understand al-Qaeda’s bringing down the towers. Many Americans couldn’t.

Everyday People

„America and the world commemorate you and your loved ones. The pieces of your soul.“

The pieces of my soul point Joe Biden to the Cambridge Dictionary:

Is Biden perhaps no longer accustomed to addressing the living? The guy looks and sounds like one of the friggin‘ walking dead. When this US President says „everyday people“ I feel patronized, insulted.

Damn! I went for Everyday People and was reminded how inspired we used to feel when we heard a number of these tracks:

Sitness® X

Guardian:

So far, so good: woman who doesn’t believe there’s evidence for effectiveness of vaccination gets a court order to force use of animal worm medication on hospitalized husband. Cool. It can’t get any better. And yet, and yet, there’s this ad. It’s kind of amazing. A professional sportsman who finds movement fun encourages fitness by sitting. Sitting in the right chair, that is. So check it out: you can read about horse dewormer as court-ordered medical treatment while training your muscles and keeping fit and healthy by sitting in your chair. Life is good.
